||Katya Khan hosts Sculpting Social Landscapes at Side Street Projects, a public art project. This interactive outdoor installation will be created through a series of community based art events, running from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays through March 8. The public is invited to play and socialize in the process of building a mini-landscape for sensory and physical exploration. Sculpting Social Landscapes seeks to present a new kind of solution to the problem of alienation from nature and the outdoors. The project invites people to work meaningfully and enjoyably alongside members of various generations whose links are often tenuous or broken. The event is free.
