Christians Offering Love to Overcome Racism in Society (COLORS) hosts a screening of “The House I Live In,” a film masterpiece directed by Eugene Jarecki, Executive Producers Danny Glover and Brad Pitt, on the failure of America’s drug war, filled with hope and the potential to affect change. It screens at 12:45, and includes a vegetarian lunch from Homegirls Catering. A donation of $10 is suggested.
Angelica Salas, executive director of the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights of Los Angeles discusses the current effort to achieve national, comprehensive and human immigration reform and the role of faith communities in the effort, at 10:15 a.m. in the Rector’s Forum. Admission is free and open to the public. The Canterbury and Coventry Choirs perform a concert of works by Gabrieli, Billings, Rachmaninoff, Connor, Hogan, Britten, Handel, Mozart and Lukaszewski at 5 p.m. Admission is a suggested donation of $10.
