At Center for the Arts, Eagle Rock’s Summer Arts Camp, kids ages 6 to 12 can explore visual art, performance, sculpture, architecture, textile art, writing and other endeavors. Teachers are local, contemporary artists combining art history, play-based learning and their own studio practices in a curriculum offering opportunities for artistic expression and establish community. Hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, starting Monday and continuing through Aug. 12. Campers sign up by the week. Cost is $300 per week, or $275 for members.
A concert features Katalyst and Genr8r in a night of jazz, funk and soul starting at 8 p.m. Tickets are $12 in advance, $15 at the door.

The camp is from 9am – 5pm, with the earliest drop-off available at 8:30am, and the latest pick-up at 5:30pm. This year, the camp runs the weeks of June 13 – August 12, 2016. Campers sign up by week, and you can sign up your campers for as few or many weeks as you’d like in advance. The cost to attend camp is $300 per week for nonmembers and $275 per week for members.
