Events at Offramp Gallery
Offramp Gallery presents "Forget Me Not," a solo exhibition of new work by artist Susan Sironi, continuing through April 20. Sironi uses vintage books as an initial source material, altering them into sculptural collages that reflect on history and/or the past. Sironi also works with the material she removes from the books to portray fragmented ideals, forgotten or distorted history and the passing of time. Regular hours are 1 to 5 p.m. Friday, Saturday, Sunday, or by appointment
Skip Snow, a participant of the East Village Art movement from 1989 to 1994, has exhibited nationally and internationally in solo and group exhibitions at numerous venues. He worked as a performer and technician with Sky Saver Productions and The Wooster Group. "Skip Snow's Pity Party" marks Snow’s first one-person project since 1990. The exhibition opens with a reception from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday and continues through June 1.
