AmericaFest at the Rose Bowl, 1001 Rose Bowl Drive, Pasadena, starts at 2 p.m. outside the stadium with food vendors, entertainment, exhibits and rides for kids. The national anthem at 7 p.m. will be followed by music from Beatles tribute band Liverpool Legends, motorcycle stunts and fireworks. Tickets are $13 and $25. A hot dog eating contest and beer fest at the Dog Haus Biergarten, 93 E. Green St., Pasadena features broadcasts of World Cup quarterfinals at 9 a.m. followed at 2 p.m. by the beer fest and live music by Past Action Heroes.
