Caltech thinks green

They're not only smart, they care.
The Caltech chapter of the Engineers for a Sustainable World was one of more than 1,000 academic groups to participate last week in a global warming teach in organized by Focus the Nation, an organization that promotes youth activism for the environment.
The teach-in included an interactive Web discussion with scientists about "the 2 percent solution" - the theory that developed countries must cut 2 percent of their current carbon emissions each year in order to stop global warming from exceeding four degrees Fahrenheit.
