MeowMeowz reopens Saturday with a rockin’ blast in East Pasadena

Now that MeowMeowz, Pasadena’s one-stop rock shop, has moved from Altadena, help celebrate the store’s grand reopening Saturday at its new location on Colorado Boulevard in East Pasadena.
Dedicated to the indie, punk and gothic metal music scenes, all with an ’80s bent, the boutique features new and vintage clothing, vinyl records, footwear, jewelry and posters. The store also houses an art display area and rehearsal and performance space.
A full day of music is set for Saturday, with six rocking bands on tap: Never Dead, Triple Dog Dare, Analog Ghost, House of Mirrors (pictured), Majorelle and A Thousand and Fifty Lies.
The event also includes barbecue, giveaways and, of course, shopping.
The party starts at noon Saturday at MeowMeowz, 2423 E. Colorado Blvd., Pasadena.
