U2 tribute band L.A.vation performs the final concert in summer series
The Pasadena Party on the Plaza concert series concludes Friday night with a band that provides a fitting end to the series: U2 tribute act L.A.vation, which takes the stage at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium Plaza.
L.A.vation may not be U2, but it’s the next best thing. The band has been heralded far and wide as performing authentic renditions of the original recordings by Bono and the guys. The LA-based band takes its name from U2’s hit song “Elevation” from the 2000 album “All That You Can’t Leave Behind.”
L.A.vation provides a memorable stage show so accurate that it’s taken the group to numerous European countries, Africa, the Caribbean, Central America and even Afghanistan. The tribute rockers have also performed at numerous corporate events and high-profile festivals around the United States.
