The Ori Naftaly Band brings it home to Arcadia Blues Club
By John Sollenberger 08/21/2014
Catch some Memphis soul Saturday when the Ori Naftaly Band heats up Arcadia Blues Club.
Founder, guitarist, producer and songwriter Ori Naftaly and songwriter and lead vocalist Eleanor Tsaig have headed the group since its 2011 inception.
The Memphis-based band, which boasts a soul and blues repertoire, has in a relatively short time gained the respect and support of the international blues community, developing a huge fan base around the world.
The ONB has kept up a busy tour schedule, touring 30 states and Europe twice. The group won the Israeli Blues Challenge and reached the International Blues Competition in Memphis in 2013. At that event, the group sold more CDs than any other band. The band’s first two releases have received rave reviews worldwide. A third disc is scheduled for some time this year.
