Sierra Madre’s Café 322 offers a great place to celebrate romance on any night, but Tuesday you can show your love in a foot-stomping way when Rob Rio and The Revolvers fire up the dance floor.

Pianist and vocalist Rio is known as “The Boss of the Boogie” and always keeps the action lively. He’s developed a powerful following over more than 30 years of playing around the world. He was inducted into the Boogie Woogie Hall of Fame in 2008 on the strength of his mastery of jump blues of the 1940s and ‘50s.

The keyboard ace has appeared with blues originals, including Muddy Waters, Willy Dixon, Joe Cocker and Paul Butterfield. Equally impressive are his recording credits, including work with Mick Jagger, Coco Montoya, Canned Heat and Billy Boy Arnold. The New York native LA resident and his band keep busy playing festivals, clubs and other events all over the land. Visit robrio.com for the whole story.

Music starts at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Café 322, 322 W. Sierra Madre Blvd., Sierra Madre. Cover is $10. Call (626) 836-5414 or visit cafe322.com
