Open mic nights abound in the LA area, serving numerous valuable purposes, among them a network for musicians looking for gigs.
OK, maybe you have talent to share, but the bar scene just isn’t for you.
Maybe you’re too young to get in to the local pubs.
If this is you, then the LA County Department of Parks and Recreation and the North County Community Services Agency has the prefect venue for you.
Every Wednesday night Altadena’s Farnsworth Park’s outdoor amphitheater turns into a talent-scout outpost. It doesn’t matter if you’re a seasoned pro or a beginner. All are welcome to get up and try out their talent.
Sign-ups start at 6:45 p.m. The fun runs from 7 to 9 p.m.
