As of Tuesday, day 2,042 of the war in Iraq…

4,185 members of the US military, including 8 military civilians killed in action, have died so far in Iraq, Associated Press reported.

88,373 is the minimum number of civilian deaths due to violence in Iraq since the beginning of the war, according to iraqbodycount.net.

3 more years is how long American troops would stay in Iraq under a proposed US-Iraq security pact that would allow Iraqi courts to prosecute American companies and off-duty soldiers who commit crimes there, reported AP.

$564.4 billion has been spent so far on the war, $273.9 million of it from Pasadena taxpayers, according to the National Priorities Project’s costofwar.com.
