The ball-n-chain MIC (military industrial complex) that Ike so appropriately warned us about, is in the business of manufacturing weapons of mass destruction. The mass that it so preferencially destroys is invariably biological.
Effective military campaigns clearly identify the enemy, target that enemy, and neutralize (doncha just love that euphamism?) it. The consequence? political stability is promoted and peace ensues.
Military industrial complexes ARE NOT "into" peace. It's such a non-money maker.
