Outtasight Old Towne Pub gets exotic with Tiki Friday

The Old Towne Pub is hidden behind the Container Store at the corner of Fair Oaks Avenue and Union Street, and most people might not know it’s even there. That’s too bad, because the Pub really is a great place to have fun, especially at Friday’s Tiki Party.
Wear your favorite Hawaiian shirt or South Sea island gear and get a $1 Tiki Death Punch and/or any beer on tap for $2.
Of course, live music is on tap for free, featuring rockabilly and blues by Avery James and the Hillandales, punk rock and psychedelia by Lungbutter, and feel-good funk and hard-hitting party anthems from Permashine.
Music starts at 9 p.m. Friday at the Old Towne Pub, 66 N. Fair Oaks Ave., Pasadena. Enter through the alley off Holly Street between Raymond and Fair Oaks avenues. Call (626) 577-6583.
