Joined for a Saturday matinee by special guests Chad Watson, Neil Rosengarden and Bill Burnett, the Licata Brothers return to Coffee Galley Backstage following a successful performance in June.

Since 2010, the singing and songwriting brothers have thrilled local audiences, performing their infectious style of heartfelt vocals and acoustic guitar with a repertoire reaching back some 100 years of the Great American Songbook. The pair has also been known to jump genres, and occasionally perform in other languages.

The youthful duo of Jimmy Licata (born 1997) and Tony Licata (born in 2000) released their first four-song CD “Grizzly Bear,” a tribute to beloved songs from the 1920s and 1960s, to rave reviews.

They followed that up with a 2016 release of the CD “Gift for the Soul,” a powerful, uplifting collection of original acoustic guitar and vocal arrangements set to prayers from the Baha’i faith.
