Singer, drummer, songwriter and band leader Lindsay Beaver and the 24th Street Wailers serve a plate full of music Saturday night.
The Nova Scotia native has spent the past several years leading the band on treks across North America and Europe, showcasing her awesome voice and drumming abilities, while fronting a band of pros. The act has become a top draw at festivals, theaters and clubs from one end of the continent to another.
Beaver and company produce a wailing blend of rock, blues, soul and punk, a winning formula that has led to critical kudos and awards, including a 2015 Juno Award (the Canadian Grammy), along with 15 Maple Blues Award nominations and a variety of other accolades, as well as nationwide radio airplay.
