Mozart Dee, who sings and performs inspired, indie music from the heart, plays five instruments and writes and sings music in English, Spanish and Chinese, takes the stage at Coffee Gallery Backstage Saturday night.

The performer, who has already had her voice and music placed in the new “Baywatch” television series, has also seen her work appear in films.

The prolific songwriter was born in California and has lived in some 48 countries. Her stated, ambitious goal is to uplift the world with her music and other talents. Dee recently released a female empowerment song and video, “Push You Harder.”

Besides her considerable entertainment abilities, she has done charity work around the world, including working to open a school in Guatemala with Adam Braun’s Pencils of Promise organization. Her music has been compared to Billy Strayhorn, and the youthful artist has received numerous awards for her work, while also performing at top venues worldwide, including Carnegie Hall.
