Multiplatinum singer-songwriter, teacher, author and actor Harriett Schock, who performs Sunday at Coffee Gallery Backstage, has written songs for TV and films, including “The New Adventures of Pippi Longstocking” and the PBS children’s series, “Jakers: The Adventures of Piggley Winks,” among others.

Schock’s songs have been recorded by numerous artists, including Helen Reddy, Johnny Mathis, Smokey Robinson, Manfred Mann, Roberta Flack, Lee Greenwood and Nancy Wilson. Over the years, Schock released seven albums, and has received several Grammy nominations.

Guests Sunday can expect to hear some of her hits, including “Ain’t No Way to Treat a Lady,” “You Are” and “One Time Lover,” along with some of her new material.
