“Classical Gestures”

“Classical Gestures,” a solo exhibition by Pasadena-based artist Frederick Hurd, who works in traditional painting and early photographic media, closes March 16 at V-Gallery at Pasadena City College. Hurd explores modern culture’s fascination with architecture and artworks from classical antiquity by employing painting and cyanotype, a 19th century photographic printing process.
