The museum presents an installation of Titian’s “Lady in White,” c. 1561, on loan from the Gemäldegalerie Alte Meister, in Dresden. The identity of the subject of the painting has eluded scholars for centuries, and has been a highlight of Dresden’s art collection for more than 250 years. The installation here is the first time the work has been presented in Southern California. It remains on view through March 25.
