Known for ethically sourced fine jewelry, Brilliant Earth recently unveiled its new One Colorado showroom — its 29th overall.
Kathryn Money, Brilliant Earth’s senior vice president of merchandising and retail expansion, said Pasadena was an obvious choice for the brand.
“We honed in on One Colorado in particular,” Money said.
“It has this beautiful vibe where customers would enjoy coming to the showroom. The energy in One Colorado is really similar to the experience that we’re aiming to create in our showroom. We wanted it to feel approachable and have a fun atmosphere.”
The ground floor showroom is in one of the center’s early 1900s historic buildings that house a curated mix of creative office spaces, specialty retailers, restaurants and a boutique cinema.
“We are thrilled to welcome Brilliant Earth to One Colorado,” said Peter Maggio, senior vice president leasing, ShopCore Properties, owner/manager of One Colorado.
“The new store is the perfect addition to our collection of best-in-class lifestyle, retail and dining establishments.”
Brilliant Earth was founded by Beth Gerstein and Eric Grossberg in 2005 to offer a more “transparent, sustainable and compassionate jewelry industry.”
For Mother’s Day, Brilliant Earth has expanded its personalization category, which includes a range of pieces from medallions to birthstone pendants.
“Mother’s Day is an opportunity to focus on gifts with meaning and a lot of our collection incorporates gifts with meaning,” Money said.
“We have just launched family jewelry medallions that are personalized with initials, specific to family members. We also have launched a limited-edition assortment of cocktail rings. We also have a wide range of products available at the showroom and online, from under $150 to into the thousands of dollars. A lot of products speak to personalization and meaning.”
