Megan Lund of Pasadena and Laurel Moneysmith of San Marino were named to the dean’s list for the fall 2022 semester at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Lund is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in exercise physiology, while Moneysmith is studying biochemistry and molecular biology, working toward a Bachelor of Science. To make the dean’s list, students must have earned at least 12 credits for the fall 2022 semester and have no disqualifying grades. The GPA threshold varies by college — for the College of Education and the Klingler College of Arts and Sciences, undergraduate students must have at least a 3.7 to be named to the dean’s list. The undergraduate GPA requirement is 3.5 for the following colleges: the Diederich College of Communication, the College of Business Administration, the College of Health Sciences, the Opus College of Engineering and the College of Nursing. All other programs have a 3.75 GPA minimum. Several local residents have earned placement on the Gonzaga University dean’s list for fall semester 2022. Students must earn a 3.5 to 3.84 grade-point average to be listed. They are Matthew Benson, Thomas Gonzalez and Reese Turknette of Altadena; Anissa Olona of Glendale; and Nicholas Aloisio, Elisa DeGroot, Lucas Hiura and Gabriela Rivera of Pasadena. Ally Sokolow of South Pasadena made the dean’s list for the fall 2022 semester at Maryville College in Maryville, Tennessee. Consideration for the dean’s list is open to full-time students who have a grade point average of at least 3.6 in all work undertaken, no grade below a “C” and no incompletes for the semester.
Xander Penzato of Pasadena was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2022 semester at Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri. This honor recognizes students who have achieved a grade-point average of 3.5 or above. Rockhurst University, founded in 1910 and located in Kansas City, Missouri, is a Catholic university in the Jesuit tradition.
